1. One more week.. feeling very unproductive & lethargic. It’ll get better! Letting go & letting God (take over)..

  2. how I wish they were destroyed. But Paul says “What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice, (Philippians 1:18 ESV)”

  3. In This Life - Collin Raye

For all I’ve been blessed with in this life
There was an emptiness in me
I was imprisoned by the power of gold
With one honest touch, you set me free

    Let the world stop turning
    Let the sun stop burning
Let them tell me love’s not worth going through
If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you

For every mountain I have climbed
    Every raging river crossed
You were the treasure that I longed to find
Without your love I would be lost

    Let the world stop turning
    Let the sun stop burning
Let them tell me love’s not worth going through
If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life i was loved by you

In this life, I was loved by you

  4. CAPTAIN AMERICA! & ironman mentioned Jonah in the movie. Ha, how apt. #asalways

  5. Glad I caught Thor & Captain America before today… guess I’ll have to catch up on Ironman.. Part 3 is coming in 2013. #musings

  6. Really liked how the preacher (don’t know his name) ran through the book of Jonah (4 chpts) in one sermon with a few key points. He highlighted some stuff which I would have missed out had I read it on my own.. this was like 1.5 months ago? It is still in my head.. going through Philippians s-l-o-w-l-y… guess I’ll pass on Nehemiah from now on & head over to my fav place.. #ramblings

  7. “And God said to Jonah, Do you do well to be angry for the loss of the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, angry enough to die! Then said the Lord, You have had pity on the gourd, for which you have not labored nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, in which there are more than 120,000 persons not [yet old enough to] know their right hand from their left, and also many cattle [not accountable for sin]?” - Jonah 4:9-11 (AMP)

  8. A Christian is like a superhero. We’re here to save the world. But the power that lies within most of us is dormant.. In that sense, we’re more like volcanoes, the dormant type.

  9. Inspirational, motivational, impactful, thought-provoking, mostly smart, seemingly correct. That is, until one actually reads the Word.
